I am gonna be high on a point with my 12-40x60 Leupold spotter,I will have the Savage 110 FCP-HS 338 Lapua with the 4.5-14 LR/T M1 zeroed at 300 yards with the 250 gr bullets at 2900 fps,,I am gonna pretend I am out west Mulie hunting and glass,spot and stalk if possible,,I feel really good to 750.

I think I'll take the CheyTac with Thermal optics.. comfy at a couple miles. Will be watching a powerline with 1000 pounds of corn spread up to 1 mile from my truck. May try a 24hr sit

lol either that or a Marlin 30-30 with Remington 150 Core Lokt bullets and a cheap simmons scope, no farther than a 100 yard shot. \:\)

Im a cheap ba$tad. Mossberg ATR in 30/06. Shootin 1.5" @ 100yds though. My Nikon on it cost as much as the rifle. I trust this rig. Killed plenty with it.

Opening day has been a ruger theam this year.

Opening day in ky i carried a Tang safety m77 300win mag w/burris 3-9 scope. Killed a doe & 8pt.

Opening day in Tn i carried a Ruger m77 mkII 30-06 w/ leupold vx2c 3-9 on it. Shot a Big 8pt.

My opening day will be the day after Thanksgiving and I'll be taking my Remington 700 .243 because my son will be with me and he can shoot it.


Later in the year I'll bring out my new to me Winchester model 70 Classic stainless .270.
