Ok.... 2 of the 3 need a new home:

Early 1980's Remington Mountain Rifle in .270 - hinged floorplate model - bluing excellent - wood has some hunting marks on the cheek piece - Redfield one piece base - Redfield rings - New Bushnell 3-9x40 scope. 575.00

Ok.. I can add pics of the next 2 however a description will tell you what you need to know I think ;\)
Sako A7 .270 stainless - synthetic stock - never hunted - shot to sight in - Nikon Monarch 4-16x42 side focus - all bought new here in Jackson - receipts in boxes - box for scope and rifle included - $1005.00 Firm as a broom handle \:\) This one would cost you 1400 to 1600+ depending on where you bought it - NICE Christmas present for somebody!
Ruger MK II Stainless .270 with the black boat paddle stock and an Older model Simmons Aetec - great scope!! Very nice rifle - 605.00 and again, Firm as a broom handle \:\)
If you need pics of the bottom 2 let me know.

I'm sure you probably know about the Sako accuracy guarantee... If we can do our part, it will place 3 shots in 1" at 100 no problem.

Most of my spill over were not scoped, so I went with cabinet for those. Local store had the 8 gun Stack On for $89, I believe.

Oh wait, that's right, I sold all my guns. LOL

You will regret selling that Sako \:\)

And I can tell you we would be dealing again if I had the room and my mind wasn't on something specific. That Mountain is a pretty piece and would make
someone an awesome gun.

I guess I should elaborate further.. Matthew said he "would" keep the Sako if I get what I need out of his Ruger \:D So, what he dont know wont hurt him - other words, if the Ruger sells the Sako is Matthews.
And, the more I fooled with the 700 MR last night, the more I want that one in my own personal stock pile. That pencil barrel setup is LIGHT as a feather! This is also one of the early 80's models with an adjustable trigger too.

I have several asking about the Ruger so maybe it will sell at which point I'll probably pull the other 2 \:\)

That sako is freakin' sweet. If I wouldn't have bought a Winchester model 70 Classic stainless .270 just like it last year I'd be all over that.

I've had that Ruger in .243 and that scope. The scope was on a 7mm that I killed my biggest deer with. Awesome combo and price.

I'm going to offer up the 700 MR at the price listed once more. I 've had several inquiries and some trade offers - nothing that has sealed the deal however, since I dont even shoot the gun I'll offer it up once more

Sighted in at 100 and shooting GREAT! Trigger is set at around 2.2 lbs - fully adjustable

Mountain rifle is a lighter setup - including the barrel.. Same concept as winchester and the featherweight they sell/sold.

This one is as described - SUPER NICE - maybe 2 boxes down the pipe - bought new in the early 80's - one of the few years that Remington had added the adjustable trigger, before they took it away again. Rarely will you see an older Mountain Rifle, or any 700, in this condition.

Not sure what a 700 SA is...

I had been looking for a stock for a .243, so I have SA engrained in my brain lately. I have seen alot of weird letters after rifle models these days...especially Rem 700.
