Also, the bottom of the cases are two diff. diameters, that accts. for the firing pin being offset on the primer.................shell was laying on the bottom of the chamber.

The head diameter looks noticably smaller on the bad cases. A few years ago my dad and I were sighting in my 7 mag and his 300 mag. I shot his and it didnt hit the target and it had no recoil. Come to find out I shot a 7 mag round in a 300 rifle.

I would hate to see how they chambered. Belted cases head space on the belt the others are made to head space on the sholder.

I do believe P I C was luckey! Those are deffinately wrong caliber. Maybe even 30/06. If it says 7mm on case maybe a 7x57 or a 7/08.

some 280 ammo is marked 7mm Express,,mic the case head,I would bet it is .473,,if it was 7mm RM it would be .512 and have a belt like the three cases on the left,,
like the others even if it is marked 7mm Rem Mag that is not what it is,,

7mm mag 3 on left. Not 7mm mag two on right. No way they say the same thing.
