Could be just strange camera angle or body position. Often snap-shot pictures of deer in motion catch them in a strange body positions.

I am with BSK on this one. Same thing in one of my pics. Motion and any wind moving branches near by can make that camera do odd things

Yeah, I didn't set it up right with the genus and specie and so on, but it looks like a mouse to me with weirdo legs, maybe it is a Nashville Girl mouse? If it was a Memphis Girl Mouse, the legs would be fat and ugly.
