Smoke pole season is over for me. Going to unload and clean it today. Saturday I get to play with a real gun.

I enjoy hunting with a M/L but, miss the days when we had a season that was after the gun season.....I'll put mine away with only one in the freezer but, may pull it back out once or twice during the gun season!

I unloaded mine last weekend but has to wait til I am home next week to get cleaned. Love her heart. I hope she will forgive me.

I still have an oak ridge hunt in December, so I will get one more weekend with mine!

Cleaned and put up.

Three more deer requests to fill during rifle and most likely two deer in AL and that will end my season hopefully with an even dozen.

That sure is a long way from barely being able to walk and killing one deer just three years ago. So far this year, I have been able to drag all of them out myself. The one I killed yesterday field dressed 69 pounds on the scales and I threw her in the truck with ease. Until you have been there, you can't know how good that made me feel.
