Well just got back from my annual trip to Northwest MO to hunt some whitetails. On Sunday(the 2nd day of hunt) it was windy and spitting snow at around 3pm when i noticed a nice buck coming out of woods toward me. I knew the deer because we saw him friday chasing does while we where scouting. He walked out at 50yds and the 7mag did the rest. Rough score is 159.
The 2nd pic is the buck my son killed in Madison county Tuesday morning. Two does came in on him and he saw some horns on 3rd deer but thought it was the basket rack 6 he saw earlier in the morning. the does eased on through the woods and the 8pt stepped into an opening and the smokeless savage dropped him.
