They can't be worse than ordering 2 McDonald's McDoubles, large order of fries, and a soda drink. There's a guy I work with that eats 4 of those about every other night for lunch.
Funny story about another guy I work with. He's always hard up for money; one of those that is always whining about being broke but never wants any OT and that kind of thing. He has several kids; I think he has 4 or 5. Anyway, he took the family on vacation to Pigeon Forge and that took everything they had to do that. So they didn't go anywhere to eat while they were up there. He said they bought a couple cases of Chicken and Beef flavored noodles and that's what they ate. He said they also stopped at some fast food place once, and got a crapload of free ketchup packets, and would mix that with the noodles to give it different flavor...and or use the ketchup packets in a bowl and mix it with water to form some kind of tomato soup.
WOW. We just stopped on the way and got regular groceries. Got a cabin, so we didn't have to eat out all the time.

They are good uncooked in a salad or cole slaw. My wife makes this killer Asian cole slaw with uncooked Ramen as on of the ingredients. I won't touch it because I HATE onions but everyone swears by it.

Guarantee you those kids will attend an out of state college or move away as soon as possible! What a warped way to treat your kids.

I don't eat them all the time. But I love them and the cup version too. I cooked some of the cheddar cheese, beef and chicken flavored cups over a campfire for lunches during all day spring turkey hunts. Funny cause I just got a craving for one a bit earlier. Might pick me one up soon

Guys, them things ain't good for you!
No they are not!
Most people don't realize it, but each packet is two servings! That means if you eat the whole packet (and who doesn't?), you double the "nutrient" list on the label.
The sodium alone is bad enough, but they also have MSG, which is even worse.
I love them, but never eat them anymore.

We are what we eat. Most people are digging their grave with their teeth and don't even realize it. Our cells are made up of what we eat. We stay sick, have diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, get diagnosed with fibromyalgia, lupus, cancer, and don't even realize that we caused 99% of our illnesses with what we consume and don't consume. I changed my eating habits, started putting REAL nutrition in my body, and have been allergy and illness free for 22 months now. My kids havent been sick in 18 months and are off weekly allergy shots and daily allergy meds. We had all better start being proactive about our health, because Obamacare is going to kick most people over 45 to the curb when it comes to lifesaving "care" from disease.

Not a fan of the Ramen noodles. When I eat noodles, it's usually whole wheat or rice noodles...
