my first go round with Weaver and it is not starting off good,,I will hold off judgement until I see how it all goes,,

I have a 3-15x50 Tactical that is First Focal plane,it has a lighted Enhanced Mil reticle and has ,10 mil adjustments and 35 Mils of adjustments..

I really like the scope and how it functions, but I have an issue with the mechanics of the locking elevation turret and need to send it in for repair,,I can`t get anybody on the phone, they dont put you on hold you have to leave a message and wait for a return call,,called Friday and yesterday and have had no response,,Emailed them today and hopefully I will at least hear back from them,,

My one and only experience with Weaver CS went perfect. It's been years so who knows now but they made it right for me. I had an old 2x7 post & crosshair reticle scope fog up. They sent me a new one, only problem was they don't do post & crosshair anymore and I got duplex reticles.

I contacted them about an old scope, for information. I sent them an email, got a response in a couple of days, never tried calling.

I've got the exact same scope, will be shooting it on Monday for the first time.
Anything I need to look at on the turret?

I was losing my elevation zero,,making adjustments that did not add up at all,,after 3-400 rounds of 338 LM ammo I finally figured it out,,the turrets lock when pushed in and you have to pull them up to unlock and make adjustments, what was happening when I would pull the turret up to unlock it was coming up too high and the knob was turning but it was not moving the internal adjustments,,the screw that holds the turret on the scope backed out and let the turret come out to far enabling the knobs to turn free,,
when you take the cap off to reset your turrets to zero you can see a brass screw head inside the turret,in an attempt to further troubleshoot the problem I wound up stripping that screw off and the knob came off in my hand..
I really like the scope and it`s function,,I hope they get me straightened out but I still have no response from them,,

Gotcha'.
I already bore sighted mine and reset the turrets to zero (just to practice, will have to do again here shortly after zeroing).
Thanks for the info. I will make sure to keep an eye on that screw. Hope Weaver responds quickly. That has been a big discussion on snipershide; Weaver vs. Vortex customer service and warranty. Vortex CS wins hands down, but their PST doesn't seem to hold up as well on a heavy recoiling rifle.
BTW, good to know the scope is holding up sitting on a 338.

I am not sure if the recoil and muzzle blast caused the screw to work loose or what,,but do not mess with that screw or you will be sending yours back also,,

I swapped my 4.5-14 LR/T M1 to the 338 and I am not sure what I will do when I get the Weaver back,,I am debating putting it on my CZ 455 Varmint and trying to make a 500 yard capable 22LR.I think the 3-15 Weaver has enough adjustments to make it ,but I still havent heard from Weaver yet,,I need a work order # from them before I can send it in,,

On another forum they seem to have gotten through on the phone. I looked for a number for you, but they didn't list one other than in the Weaver literature.
Can you get a 20MOA sight base for your CZ 455? Gets you some additional range.

I have a DIP 25 MOA taper rail on order and can get 20 more Minutes from the Burris inserts,,I plan on mounting it so as with a 50 yard zero the scope will be at the very bottom of its adjustments and with 36 Mils which is equal to 130 minutes,,my charts call for 102 MOA to reach 500,,hopefully I will get to try it out,
