Just got a call from a hospital in Florida that they have my sister there on life support. Haven't seen her in a few years but she has been "gone" for many years due to drug and alcohol abuse. I knew this day was coming and thought I was ok with it but dang. Now I have to go tell mom.....

Thanks everyone. I thought I have been ready for this since we have expected it for so long. She is several years older than me and I didn't remember how close we once were until today when I was looking through some old pictures. Dang this just sucks.
