After almost a year solid, of being with a pup every single day, and training her myself. I cannot wait to duck hunt with my new partner. I think I am more excited about duck hunting now than I have ever been about deer hunting. I have always liked duck hunting, but still would probably pick a deer hunt over a duck hunt, but after seeing this dog's drive, love for water, and her WANT to make me happy, I CANNOT wait to hunt with her! Bad thing is I have to work Saturday morning, so it will be a good afternoon hunt for pictures'!

This is the day we brought pepper home from JayB's

This is peppers first duck she ever retrieved, was in the front yard, and she retrieved it until it didn't have any feathers on it for about an hour!

This was her first fishing trip. She looked at me the whole time like that, just begging to get in the water.

These are the eyes I look at every morning if I don't feed her by 8am

I'll be in Arkansas, our family has a farm that's been ours for absolutely ever. My great uncle, who is in his upper 80's was born and raised there..my dad lives in the farmhouse, but is disabled so he can't farm it.

What part of AR? In high school and college, I lived in south east AR in McGehee. Some of the finest duck hunting in the world around there. We used to go before classes in high school and if it was cold enough, just throw the ducks and guns in our trucks and take care of them afterwards. I still go back every January and hunt with friends that farm there.
