My grandmother (mamoo)is 87 yrs old, she has been in the hospital for a week or so, they have moved her to a nursing home. Things are not looking good at all. they gave her two liters of blood, she perked up some after that, but it was short lived. She is a spitfire, and has gone through so much, healthwise,she had a rupture in her intestines, during the surgery to fix that she suffered 2 heart attacks, she has had a colostomy bag for years now, as they couldnt do surgery again because her heart was not strong enough. She also is on an experimental drug that she takes in breathing treatments, without this drug she would be dead as the muscles in her heart that move the oxygen through no longer function with out these meds. She weighs a whole 80 pounds soaking wet, she is just dwindling away to nothing. Its really sad that her body is giving out, because mentally, she is a spitfire, just a real go getter, and sharp as a tack. To see her fading is horrible, I realize its part of life....... But it sucks!! Sorry to go on and on, I just love this woman, and she is such a big part of our family. If you wouldnt mind just sendin up a prayer or two for her! Id appreciate it, and I know she would as well. Thanks.
