Very happy with deer, just a bad shot. I hate when i do that sort of thing. antlers have nothing to do with it.

For someone who just went through the type of accident he did I would say yes. Life alone, much less a deer would be something to be happy about.

It was a great hunt, this day I put a lot to bed in the woods talking to the man upstairs. I was trying to figure what was going wrong. God answered me. I cleared the air. Then with in 30 minutes of doing what I need to do. Well the woods came a live. I have a hard time explaining this.

Why not your finest hour?
I shot this deer on the run. Hit was not were I wanted it due to him going over fence. Then after 300 yard track I shot him 70 yards in the ear.

Not to happy with my bullet had issues last year with it. does not exit. it is a Hornday. I wont buy them again

Congrats! Always nice to find your kill.
I actually prefer a bullet that retains its kinetic energy expands and fragments upon impact and does not exit. Rarely have I had a deer run and if so it is less than 25 yds.

I dont have deer go that far normally, 2nd time. I am going back to my old bullets.
