Im always seeing phenomenal pics of bucks that most would consider trophies ...why is there such a dense pop. Of bucks there....are people allowed to hunt it?....
Ive lived a sheltered life lol

NO HUNTING....NO Picking Up Sheds.....No Picking Flowers The age of the bucks and the fact that it can't be hunted is why you see so many nice bucks! It's a mixture of forrest and farm land, with no hunting......what could be better for growing nice racks!!!!

Time to start a petition for TWRA to change to a 0 buck limit.

i have see a lot of sick deer and deer in poor health there
i feel they are doing more harm than good for the animals by not letting them be hunted
any time you can walk up to a deer just aint right

About every 7 year, according to a park ranger friend of mine, they die off due to over population. You will see browselines and notice they are thin and sickly looking...then a few years alter, they come back.
