If i was to hunt all deer season with my bow and tagged out in archery season muzzleloader season comes do i have to buy a muzzleloader tag to get more tags same for gun reason asking is could i save the $56 and still get all the tags just only use archery for entire season. Just a question ive always pondered

You have a 3 buck limit and thats it no matter what you hunt with. If you hunt with bow all year I think you just need your bow license to hunt during diffrent seasons.

So i hunt unit A and i kill 4 does and a buck im tagged out during archery i just wait til muzzy and get more tags?

You get 3 bucks period. Archery, Muzzle or Gun. you dont get 3 with each. You can kill doe in achery and muzzle and gun. see bag limits

You can kill 3 bucks during archery only season and you are done killing bucks in Tennessee for the year. If you are using your bow all season then you can still kill only 3 bucks for entire year but you can kill them from opening day of archery only through last day of gun season.

I new could only kill 3 bucks for the season but i didn no if i tagged out on anterless deer in archery was my season over or did i get to keep hunting antlerless once muzzy season came in. I will never tag out this was just a question ive had thx for clearing it

Any maybe a few wrong answers to boot. Just make sure the answer you go with comes from TWRA personnel.
