This is my first duck season and there are a bunch of rules. I was wondering if it is legal to float down the Duck, Elk, or Collins rivers and hunt duck and geese. I would be paddling.

If it is legal to hunt the rivers it is legal to float and hunt scn did answer a post about shooting out of boats as long as it is not under power. But you would have to be sure that it is legal to hunt the river I am not sure about those rivers. I think scn will be back before duck hunting starts though.

Your idea is legal, as long as it is legal to hunt the areas you are speaking of.

Yes, as long as you shoot them off the river. If they fall on the land you would have to have the landowner's permission to retrieve them.

SCN where can you find the water ways that are not legal to hunt. The reason I asked is I know there are some that are considered refuge when I looked in the book the only one I seen is by aedc. I was wondering if some of the rivers have refuges on them?

Most of the boundaries are marked. The list of refuges would be found in our Rules and Regulations.
