I believe the TWRA has a certificate for kids who kill their first possum!

From the website:

The First Possum Award is designed to commemorate that special moment in every boy's or girl's life-the shooting, stabbing or clubbing to death of their first possum. The award recognizes this special moment with a framable certificate identifying the killer, the expired possum, and other details of that moment such as "killed over pet food", "killed raiding our garbage", or even "honestly it was already dead, but I did hit it with a stick several times anyway". Size of the possum and age of the killer have no bearing, only that the possum is their first, and that it was kilt in Tennessee.

Glad you got him. Dog food is expensive nowadays.

My doggie doesn't care about certificates. But she does love ice cream.

She hates possums and skunks. However, she has learned to just bark at skunks. She is also deadly on moles. My yard looks like those gold rush guys have been here.

She starts out sleeping at the foot of the bed and ends up with her head on the pillow. She is madly in love with the electric banky.
