Not completely sure, but most cities have a ban on gunfire inside limits. I grew up in Mt.Juliet and when they extended limits out past our land, I was scared by the police for killing the starlings out of my granddads corn crop. You can kill them with a bow though.

Guns and hunting are federally regulated not city regulated so there are guidelines to follow but you can do it

You can legally fire a gun in Mt. Juliet city limits. It has to be in a safe, responsible manner but it is legal and you can hunt in the city limits, too.
