The soldier on the left is my dad, James Goodman. He fought in six battles during WW2 inlcuding open battles against Rommel's tanks in the North African desert, Monte Cassino and Anzio Beach and won a Bronze Star for containing German troops with a machine gun. I think as our generation grows older we realize just how many sacrifices our family members made for our freedom. Happy Veterans Day, Daddy.
