Just wondering what is everybody's favorite aspect of hunting. Where it is actual hunting, scenery, or friendship. My favorite part is the friendship. I enjoy it more if I'm hunting the same farm with family and friends than alone. I am just as happy when my brother, fil, or buttercup that is on here.

It has changed for me.. Early on, all about the time with good friends - LOTS of yrs duck hunting with buddies! Now, I cherish my time alone in the woods.. Time to truly take in what God has provided us and to enjoy...........the peace..

Right now it's all about my youngest son. At least when he comes with me..he loves it and we hunt how long he wants to and where he wants too... But with that said I LOVE my alone time in the woods and at the camp...

For me it's a mixture of spending time with friends that I don't see a whole lot and being alone just me and Mother Nature.

I'd have to say like TRIGGER, it's a mixture. I hunt with my youngest brother when I can and we enjoy our time together. I love to take my step son hunting but, he is only with me every other weekend.......but, it's nice to watch him and how he is becoming more and more a young outdoorsman! With all of this said, I cherish the time I am in the woods all alone. I sit and pray each morning as the sun rises on a new day, I enjoy watching the woods come to life and the peaceful feeling that comes over me.

Watching the world wake up and camping. Sitting by the fire with the hubby, the boy and anyone else who shows up. Looking at the stars at night and when i step outside in the morning is beyond relaxing.

In my younger years, I really enjoyed heading up to northern Michigan with a group - but that usually turned out to be less hunting and more of a party.

Then it changed to just a few of us that would go up and actually hunt. It was more about friendship and hunting than anything else.

Now I usually hunt alone and enjoy the time in the woods.

For the future I hope when my lil girl gets older she will join me in the woods.

I guess for me it changes with time. But let's face it, any day in the woods is better than a day at work!
