1. What does etiquette dictate as far as getting rid of the leftovers ?
2. What does the law say?
3.What does everybody really do ? \:D

Most people I know do the old country dirt road chunk it in a ditch and burn rubber method. Just wondered about everyone else .I am a fairly new hunter and don't want to run afoul of the law.

Once I get a deer butchered I take the remains back to the farm and dump them near the front gate. It's all gone aside from a few patches of fur within a day or so.

Hillside somewhere that's too steep for a human to care.

Don't put your crap someplace that ain't your property. I know this is a tough one to figure out for a good many rednecks, if the visible evidence on local roadsides is any indicator.

I've disposed of many at the dumpster where I've worked, and I've disposed of many bagged up in my own trash cans. A carcass doesn't take much room once you butcher it out.

I am with Nimrod, I put mine in black contractor bags and put it in my dumpster at work or take it to the local trash collection facility. I have found dumping it on my property has caused an increase in coyotes as is evident from the monster we saw at the "dump site" everyone else uses.

Cut into three sections and put in granage bags. Then just add to the weekly trash.

I do believe it is illegal to just dump on roadside. If not, it sure should be. If I owned land, I would create a coyote feeding area. But, I do not.
