I bought a generic commercial 1 hp grinder off of ebay for around $275 about 10 years ago and it is still going strong. Whatever you do, don't get some cheap $100 grinder. I had one that lasted about 5 seasons and I was constantly taking it apart while grinding to remove all of the sinue and grissle from around the blade. It was a real pain in the backside. I never have to do that with the one I have now. When it comes to grinders, if it tells you how powerful it is in watts, it isn't strong enough. I would not get anything less than 1/2 hp but thats just me.
