I will never be considered a grammatical genius. Never will win any spelling bee. Gosh darn it, one thing that annoys the crud out of me is the misuse of lose and loose.
FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, GET IT RIGHT!
lose.....to not be able to find something. Example: Did you lose your keys? Also, to finish second in a competition. Example: We will probably lose to Vanderbilt.
loose....not secure or lacking morals. Example: The knot came loose and the boat drifted away. My shoelaces are loose. Rumor has it that she is loose.
It drives me absolutely insane to see these words interchanged and used incorrectly. Trust me, it doesn't just happen here. It happens in everyday media. I know, I must not have much to worry about in life if this bothers me, but it does.
Ok, rant over. Thanks. Maybe now I wont LOSE my mind

Did UT LOSE to Mizzuo because of LOOSE clock management. Or was it THEIR inabilty to stop Mizzuo? I don't KNOW since I wasn't THERE!
