I am sure all of you have heard of this type of marinade before but I have been using it like crazy on my backstraps.

2 parts Apple Cider (can be hard cider)
1 part Worcesteshire
1 TB garlic salt

Just thought I would throw it out there in case any hasn't yet. I have had 3 people claim "they don't like deer" and then changed their mind after eating some backstraps I cooked. I even got my girlfriend agreeing to completely sub beef out of our diet for venison!

There are also some Thick "steakhouse" cut bacon strips I use for the straps occaisonally. These come seasoned and are great for making that backstrap tender!
