of ammo in my life. And it's not just because of Obama. I've been talking to several owners/mangers, not salesmen, of some of the online ammo places this past week and they all told me that Federal and other ammo companies will be going up 10% to 25% next year.
I bought several different calibers so with what I already have I should be good to go for a long time.

I have been kicking around the idea of a large bulk order. Around 5,000 rounds split between a few different calibers. But with a newborn it is just not in the budget.
Congrats on your order. Just like everything else I am sure ammo will continue to go up in price year over year!

I you bought ammo every time the prices were susposed to go up 10-20% in the last 5 years you would not be able to buy much else. From what I have seen ammo prices follow the lead and copper commodities prices. Who knows where they will go. I have seen lead as low as .60 a pound, up to a 1.50 a pound and back down to .75 a pound in the last 5 years. Ammo will go up but not enough IMO to justify draining the bank account unless you shoot 100's of rounds a week, which if that is the case you should be reloading and casting your own bullets anyway.

I try to buy a little along so it doesn't seem like such a big lick.

Well you all better learn how to reload that brass , because if things go bad there will be no ammo just be the primers and your old brass and what ever power you-all can get.
