I've found you can mix the thick liquid food attractants with distilled water, pour it in a spray bottle found in the cleaning supply section of wal mart. The amount of water varies with the tickness of the attractant. I dilute it just enough to get it to spray well. I know it wont do much good for the rut,but works great in spring & December.

trail cam maybe. if you are hunting for deer might not want to use it in TN

I checked with an agent when he stopped by the tackle shop where I work part time. He said as a spray, it's considered an attractant like all the lures and not a bait.

Thinking more in to it, you are probably right pcrc. With the amount of water it takes to get it to spray well may dilute the nutritional value, but I'd rather err on the safe side of the law & not push it. Other agents may not veiw it as a scent as the one I met the other day did.
