Be very careful with Ebay purchases with optics.There has been counterfeits sold on there. You can call and check to verify if the person is a licensed dealer or not through Leupold or Zeiss,...ect. If they are not licensed the warranty then means nothing.

I have a VX3, and I'm more than happy with it. It's a 4.5-14x40 though. I think my next scope will be a VX6. A 2-12x42 just seems about perfect to me.

if you can tolerate the looks and bulk of the zeiss, it is a great scope
