So you do not want them to issue more than 5 elk permits in TN?
Not until the herd can sustain more than that. I would love to have a better chance of getting drawn, but not at the expense of the herd growing.
I know the farmers in Colorado make over 500.00 a person for every Elk hunter they give permission to hunt . There is no guarantee on seeing or getting an Elk either. I think the farmers here could make a good deal of money on the Elk if there were enough Elk and enough Elk hunters.
The hunters in Colorado pay the farmers for every bale of hay he feeds and for any damage to his crops to . The big guys will pay for Elk if we get them to.
