I have a friend that was convicted of a felony 15 years ago and lost his rights to touch a gun. He has been chatting with me and really wants to get into hunting and knows that his only option is bow hunting. Unfortunately, he has never hunted and has never taken the hunter's ed class. Is it possible for him to complete/pass the course without shooting?

Not necessarily. It's too complicated to try to answer by iPhone. Give me a call next Tuesday at (615) 781-6580 and I will explain the issues.
