The first one that I ever owned was a 1858 pattern enfield. I was intent on shooting minie bullets for target work in the musket matches at the various shoots I was attending at the time. Unfortunately it had a rifling issue that rendered it useless for match shooting. I notified Euroarms about the problem and they offered to trade out for a new one(which they did),but in the same breath they said they were targeting the reenactor not the target shooter.....seems reenactors don't shoot bullets. The new one, by the way, had the same problem and I sold it not long after getting it.
With that said, they are decent reproductions and I did see some that didn't have problems as described above. Most of the guys shooting them were using from 50 to 70 grs black powder with either patched round balls(.562 I think) or minies. You can always stoke the charge up for hunting but with those big minie balls they can give you a pretty good shoulder thumpin.
