Out of bed at 4:00am everything loaded in truck,I make 45 minute drive to hunting land.load up the 4 wheeler for the 1 mile trip back in the woods.Drive to the spot i plan on hunting.Im unloading the blind, chair, gun,All of a sudden i hear HAY YOU HUNTING HERE???? i said no im just driving around in the dark with my gun dummy i asked what are you doing here he said i was going to hunt down there. So i said hunt on man so i pulled out back to the road and come into a field just above him skirted the woodline till i was up above him with the wind blowing to where he was and i set up never heard a shot but i never got a shot off either. But on the way out i saw 6 deer moving through the woods away from where we were. Now theres locks on the farm gates and maybe i wont run into him in the woods next time.

So was he trespassing??? If so, why did you let him hunt???

If he had a right to be there, what did he do wrong other than beat you to your spot and ask a dumb question?

He was a distant family member that hasnt hunted there in like 12 years and he decided to hunt where my son in law and i have been hunting for the last 10 years. We planted the whole bottom in corn this year and he happen to drive by one day and seen it so he decided it was time to go hunting there again.Him and my son in law dont get along very well being his grandpaw left him ( son in law)the land and all. but its ok theres 300 acres there and i will find another spot hope he likes the colone smell where he is hunting because the deer dont HA HA i dont get mad i get even (:

If I put that much work into it,i'd just tell him how it is and how its gonna be..If he wants to hunt,he can help with the work and the money aspect of it also.

Just how is he related to your son in law anyway? First cousin, second cousin? If the land belongs to your son in law, why doesn't he just tell him to bug off. So you poured cologne in the spot he was hunting?? You ruined the area for him and yourself. That doesn't only sound mean, it sounds unintelligent.
