I lput out a moultrie d40 yesteday and checked it today and had 93 pics only about 15 of them had game 3 deer shots and about 12 coons and possums but it seems every time the wind blows it goes of just wondering if any one had any idea about the sensitivity or anything else

Take a weedeater to anything in front of it for about 30 feet and see if it helps.

Make sure it is not facing into the sun. Set it facing North or South. The heating from the direct sun combined with moving weeds and branches will cause them to trigger.

I have the same camera but have only had about 5 or 6 blank pictures. I have also wondered why though...

My brother and I both have moultrie cams, his takes empty pics and mine takes whiteout pics.The pics that have stuff in the are nice looking pics though.

I don't any problems with my Moultrie . I have it facing North in a shaded area with very few small branches or weeds . I'm very happy with the pictures I get , considering how little I spent for the camera .

It takes great pics I was just wanting to know what was causing the pics with no game in them during the day I have a 2 gb memory in it so not worried about roo0m just battery life I have a metal feeder hangin in front of it about 15 yrds and was wondering if the heat and wind blowing it was causing the camerqa to go off other than that it is a great camera and awesome pics If i new how to post pics on here I would but it says html is off

check for tree rats in the pic. If i had a dollar for every pic i thought was blank ,. but instead had a tree rat in it,... i could buy a 500 dollar unit!!
