I bought and tried it again!! Shot 2 100gr charges and did not get full ignition! Blew half of it out the end of the Barrel. This is with a custom leighman setup in a knight 50 cal disc extreme.

I give up! 777 shot great!

Anyone want a blackhorn 209 brand new bottle missing 200 grains of powder? For say 20 bucks?

You using the right primers? Can't use a regular ML primer.

sell it off and buy a cva optima or accura v2 along with the BH209 breech plug, no trouble then.

You are either using to weak a primer or the flash channel in your breech plug needs drilling out.

I'll trade you a bottle of 777 for it. Wanna meet at our same place?

What primers are you using?

I shoot it in 5 different Knights, 3 of them are disc rifles. I have never had any ignition problem. No fail to fire, no hang fire, just instant bang.

CCI 209M primers, tight sabot/bullet combo and they touch at 100yards.

Don't understand why you are having issues with it.

That's the trick...From my experience, failure to burn all of the powder is due to one, if not both, of these.

I use BH209 in a original DISC rifle and it fires every time. Mine uses orange discs.

Also with BH209 the bullet/sabot needs to be FIRMLY against the powder to get full ignition
