2700+ fps Nice. What combination are you shooting to achieve this? How is recoil? How is accuracy? Thanks in advance. 62 gr. of H4198 pushing a 40 cal. 200 gr. SST in a Light Blue sabot. Just a touch under a 1" 3 shot group at 100 yrds.
Recoil isn't exactly pleasant but it's not too awful brutal. I really wanted to shoot the Barnes 195s this year but ran out of time. I'm going to have to knurl them to get them to group.

50 yards- that's about all the distance I have at most of my stands. I hold 1" high at 100 and I am within 2" on the target.

50 yards. Most of my shots will be less unless I happen to find them standing in the open field at daylight then I wont take the shot past 100 yards with open sights.

Just about dead on at 50. Where I hunt, most shots are in the 50 yard range, sometimes closer.

I have the Nikon Inline XR BDC Reticle scope on my Encore and have it sighted in dead on at 100 yards. The BDC reticle allows my to shoot accurately out to 250 yards with a 2,000 fps load.
