I got a knight t-bolt inline muzzleloader on a trade and have no manual. Went to sight it in today and the firing pin isn't hitting the primer. I pulled back the bolt, put in the primer, then pushed it back forward and it won't shoot or strike the primer. Serial Number S005837 and I can't find any information on how to find a manual or any other information. Can anyone help please

Is the secondary screw safety screwed out to let it hit the primer?

There should be a screw collar on the back of the bolt, turn it counter clockwise all the way out. May be a red ring of paint under it. That is the secondary safety. Gun will not fire with it screwed forward.

I just learned of this second safety. I have been told that I need to turn it counter clockwise after I close the bolt? Is that correct? I have also heard about an allen wrench being involved. In the General Forum I posted pics of my breech and bolt

Got it to completely cock and the second safety off, now if I can just find the model out so I can get a manual, life is good

Here is Knight's current manual that covers basically all the models. If the T-Bolt is a plunger style gun then this manual will show info:

Google Knight T-Bolt OR Knight Muzzleloader manual.
