just something different for a change. I have started cooking brown rice with beer and some times a little mushroom broth. Its really good and a change if you eat a lot of rice. I can't tell you want beer I have been using, I bought some strong craft beers at the liquor store and some were a little too dry or bittter but they work great to cook with.

I simmer sauerkraut and brats in beer with onions all the time, I make beer bread, even add it to some of my soup recipes from time to time.

Try making a batter with beer and flour and some seasonings. Dip your fish fillets in it then deep fry them. We also used to take deer burger and make it into small meatballs then dip them in the batter and deep fry them.
