So I'm shooting the Barnes 290 grain TEZ out of my CVA Accura. Anyone shooting this bullet?

I shoot it out of a Modified Remington 700ML with BH209.
The deer don't like it.......AT ALL.

I shot the TMZ and was extremely accurate but could not load a follow up shot. The sabot was super tight in the bore.
I shoot BH209

Try the Harvester Crush-Rib, should be able to get more shots before swabbing using BH209.
I shot 30 straight one day with mine, last one loaded just like the first. My Remington bore is probably a bit larger than yours though. But the sabot you are using is too tight.
Or are you saying TEZ works good, but TMZ is too tight?

The TMZ had the best accuracy but was too tight. The TEZ is accurate and I can reload without swabbing.
The TMZ was too tight for a second shot even with BH209

I've been a Barnes user for about 5 years, used Expanders with great results, but hard to load in my Omega. I switched this year to the TEZ, killed a big doe last Friday on a WMA quota hunt. Same results, always exit, good, short bloodtrail. I've used round balls, solid lead bullets, several different sabots, Barnes are the best. I use 250 gr.

I shoot the 250 grain TEZ. It is much easier to load in my Encore than the TMZ's that I shot before. And of course Blackhorn 209 makes it a snap to clean up.
