Is 223 cal legal for deer?

The handbook is just a little confusing to me so I wanted to make sure I was understanding it right. I can shoot any centerfire ammo for deer but if it is a muzzle loader only above 36 cal is this correct ? Thanks in advance....

Im not TWRA, but yes you can use a .223

Yes, any centerfire weapon is legal during the g/m/a season.
