Tennessee finally moved from "lean" Romney to "safe" Romney and on top of that Michigan moved from "lean" Obama to "toss up." Mr. Romney now has 180 "safe" Electoral College votes - only four behind Barack Obama's total of 184.

I've told you guys this map changes as it gets closer to election day.

Keep in mind that map is a 14-day average for the period ending 10-29-2012. During just the past few days, there have been many developments happen that favor Romney, and some that really harm Obama. These latest developments are not carrying much weight on this map, although it's obvious the "toss-up" states are trending more towards Romney with each passing day.

TN was never a concern of mine.

But I'm guessing not too many of you have been to southern MI in awhile; meaning Detroit, Flint, Saginaw, Grand Rapids, etc. Don't hold your breath on MI boys. It'll go to zerO, book it. \:\(

Rove is/was crazy to have TN as a lean Romney state.

If it gets cold in MI, and no get out the vote effort like there was 4 years ago, we could see a big surprise. I heard the obummer get-out-the-vote effort was lacking in funds and focusing on a few key states, meaning they think they have places like MI in the bag.

I'd love to be proven wrong Dave, I just don't see it. MI's economy is horrible and many of those who do want to work moved away to where they could find a job. Most of what's left are the takers.

Some great folks still up there though, they're just out-numbered.

Tennessee should have never been in the "leans Romney" category. The Kenyan had no chance of winning here. Ever.

The last two to represent TN on a state level in Washington were Al Gore and Jim Sasser. Algore vacated his seat in Jan 93 to be VP.

The 1994 mid-term elections saw Fred Thompson take Gore's seat, and Bill Frist retired Jim Sasser.

Since then, no D has been a serious contender in TN for a U.S. Senate seat.... Not even against the two idiot Rhino's we have in there now, and I don't see it changing anytime in the foreseeable future.
