Witnessed a buck actually breed a doe yesterday afternoon in Marshall County field near the Williamson County line. First time to ever actually see that in person. Very cool. Moved to another field and a small buck chased a doe right past my truck. The youth hunters/dads also saw quite a bit of chasing over the weekend at this same location. It's on like Donkey Kong on this farm.

Stewart county one property has a few scrapes in the open ridge and I haven't been in the bottoms or thickets. 1 Mile from there has more scrapes on the ridges than I have ever seen there and rubs are showing up but the only big rubs are on traditional spots.

I walked a new farm in Williamson County and saw lots of fresh rubs and 2 scrapes. One of the scrapes was the the size of a car hood. Needless to say I am very excited about getting to hunt this spot.

I'm hoping this weekend will have some cruising deer out in the open.

A few scrapes in mid-Fayette county. Saw a buck with a bunch of does, definitely following them around.

For people that use estrous scents...is it too early? Just don't use them and you won't have to worry about timing

For people that use estrous scents...is it too early? I don't usually use them but I will only use them during pre rut when the first few doe come into cycle
