Range results pretty much suck!!! Sure, most would be tickled, but not me.....Any advise to some homemade tricks on a T/C Encore trigger would be great. Got a 22/250 sporter weight that is pissing me off also when compaired to the same caliber in a varmint weight. Need <.5 on this LVSF to make me happy.

It does suck and gets frustrating not to get what you want out of one.
Never played with one so I can't help on the question except to say hang in there you'll get it sooner or later unless you pitch it first.LOL

sometimes Doc you gotta lay em down and forget it a day or 2 and start over,,
Ronnie has a LVSF in 22-250 that drives nails with 55 Sieras and H-380.

Don't give up on it. Try some different loads yet. I have a Remington 700 22-250 in a light weight barrel which I was ready to trade off. I couldn't get it to shoot any better 1-1.5 inches which didn't really get it for me in a 22-250. Everything got better when I tried the 40 grain ballistic tips. It wasn't the weight bullet I wanted to shoot but the rifle loved them and today it's my most accurate rifle. It kept it's place in the gun safe so keep trying.

The Encores trigger sucks when it comes to load developement......I sure wish they had adjustments without having to change springs and polishing. The LVSF 22-250 has it's days.......one day it will shoot in the .3's and next trip goes in the .8's. I will blame it on the wind I guess. I got a load with 40 grain Sierra's that is promising, just not consistant. Only reason I am shooting 40 grainers in it is due to the shorter barrel length.....it is a calling rifle.
