I need to do serious cleaning on my bedroom/man cave. Once all cleaned and re-organized I will be happy to post pics... just not right now. I know a man cave is not "clean" but if you saw mine you would know what I was talking about.... Your to busy killing stuff to clean up around the house!

Your to busy killing stuff to clean up around the house! this is very true... at least hunting, sometimes killing.
if I'm not at work I am probably hunting, eating or trying to get some laundry through the machine. Gonna take some time to clean up the Cave soon as I get the chance. With deer season there's no telling exactly when it will be.

What's cookin in them two big jugs?
LOL! Cookin up a batch of a Sierra Nevada clone on the right and a batch of Brown ale in the other. Another week in the secondary and it should be ready to bottle. "I love Jeasus but I drink a little."

BigTex you got a good looking man cave. Don't see many people brewing their own beer. Thanks bud! I got into home brewing several years ago. Actually i'm not a big drinker but I do enjoy a "good" brew every now and then. Beer brewing to me is a lot like a big science project, it's amazing to watch the whole process.

BigTex -
Nice set up. To bad it isn't Brush Creek but the Alexandria exit off I40. Although I am running low we could of swapped some homebrew.
Do you use - kits, partial mash or full mash? 2 in the primary, 2 in the secondary and 2 in the bottle then drink?
Jp
oh sorry to hi-jack the thread...

Mostly just do kits, I have done a few partial mash brews, never done a full mash, too much equipment involved for me. Yes, most high gravity brews require 2 weeks primary 2 weeks secondary and 2 weeks in the bottle to carbonate. I have done some low gravity brews that only require 2 weeks in primary then bottle condition for 2 weeks. They turned out pretty darn good. And yes, after 2 weeks in the bottle they are ready to go. If your ever out this way drop on in and we'll "uncork" one, lol.
