I need help. I got a spot of land that I am hunting for the third year(deer and turkey) I have shot a few Yotes off this place but I am wanting to find a good way to draw them in that won't cost me an arm and a leg with the expensive calls. I hardly need one since we see them almost every time we are out there but is there a simple louth call that is sold for cheap that may draw them in a little closer that you allknow of?

Thank you!

You can buy just a simple mouth call pretty cheap, you could make your own decoy.

Anybody tried a little stuffed animal set out or a racoon tail on a stick?

"Feather on a Stick" is one of my favorite decoys...lite fishing line and a few feathers from hobby shop(i like reds, whites and blacks) works great even in a light wind. I have even used a turkey wing/fan in late winter early spring before spring turkey season with success with distressed/lost turkey sounds. As far as cheap calls...i always have a sweaker from a childs/dog toy with me when deer/turkey/giraffalope hunting...cut it out of the toy and pinch it between your lips and blow with quick short bursts...sounds just like an upset field mouse and will stop a coyote in his tracks and starting him a lookin for it. can even use a diaphram turkey call...just press harder on the front edge of laytex and blow while trying to say "WHAAA WHAAAAA WHAAA" takes practice and will rattle your filling out first couple of times but great hands free call.....happy hunting

I bet that squeaker would work. I know it stops my dog in her tracks whenever I blow it.

I have great success calling yotes, using a verminator tweety. They cost about $11. They are fairly easy to learn to use. That's my goto call for coyote and fox. I only use a electronic caller when targeting bobcats. And that's because I've had several close encounters calling them with hand calls.
