Wifey & I were drive'n thru our little community today about 1 PM & had just passed the school house & I seen something trot across the road, I asked her "did you see that ?? it looked like a bobcat" so I gassed on it & when we passed the power line it was standing in the middle of the road.
Never thought I would se a bobcat cross the road in a populated area in broad daylight, makes the second one I've seen this year within 50 yards of a house, I told wifey " I think thers more around than people think, they just stay outta sight & no one realizes ther around".

Hrmmm. My wife saw one cross the country road down from us the other day about 7 AM, her first time to see such. And this past Spring in the subdivision where my office is, my buddy's wife saw one in their back yard near the creek. Populations are booming, it would seem. Might be the year for me to try calling.
