It's a Taurus 327 magnum any thoughts on this 327 cal?

I would love to get my wife a 327 federal, but she will not carry a gun. Eventually I will get one for her for home defense since she is not fond of my .40. A lot of purists will harp on the .327 being too small, but the decreased muzzle blast, extra round in the cylinder, and ability to shoot lesser recoiling rounds for practice (32 H&R, 32 short and long, 32 ACP, etc.) make it to be a great gun for carry and defense. The difference in diameter of the bullets between the 32 and 357/38 is negligible, and although the 90ish grain loads are the norm, 125gr rounds can be had for the 327 as well. You can number crunch all day long on its ballistic merits and disadvantages, but for the reasons stated above I see it as a great round for self defense.
