I'm sure there is a load for the 223 but is it possible to get the 300 subsonic with it being a magnum cartridge?

bluedot will make 223 subsonic ammo,,not sure about the 300 WM,but I know they make 338 LM subsonic so it cant be to hard..

Be very careful loading subsonic rounds. Do LOTS o reading on it. You can have a detonation with small amount of powder that will destroy the weapon and not turn out well for the shooter.

Yes, pre-ignition due to very light loads even has a name, which escapes me at the moment. Matter of fact, read up because I do believe magnums rounds are particularly susceptible to this kind of problem.

And yeah, you'll get folks saying they used 30 grains in a 300 WinMag. I would exercise caution.
