Thats what it is,seems late for em.Should I do some cutting back,or will the limbs recover.On crabapples BTW.

I just take a stick and remove the nest and douse in insecticide. Just removal may be fine this late in the year.

Wrap a rag around a metal pipe and douse it with gas and light it. Then burn the worms and web.

I used a tiki torch to burn them out last year.

Those dern blad things ruined my trees over the summer. Had twelve nice trees and they infested the middle one, I had to cut it down just to get them gone. They demolished a 15 ft tree in 3 days!!! Burn em....

I've cut out the branch that they are on and it worked, but that doesn't always do the trick.

Before you get to burning, make sure you have a water hose handy! I've heard some funny stories... \:\)
