I read something in the serious forum and it got me wondering. Can you use electronic calls while hunting deer? How about an app on a smartphone? Doubt I'd do it, legal or not, just wondering.

Yes, both would be legal for deer.
Electronic calls are illegal in TN for turkey, waterfowl (except for the spring Conservation Season) and foxes.

WOW I assumed they were not legal for anything but yotes
Thanks for the question and answers I may try it on my smart phone. I worry about calling as I have not practiced it and worry about getting vol right but with a phone I can do it real quite and work up to see. I wanted to do the fawn in distress to get doe's in.
