I am taking my daughter who is 8 if i understand right she doenst need hunters safety class or license right?
My brother is bring a friend of ours child. The boy is 14 and has taken his hunters safety course in North Carolina . Does he need a license? is it legal for him to hunt here? He is a resident of TN now.

Your daughter does not need a license. You will need her SS# to check in a deer.
The 14 yar old is fine to hunt with his NC HS. As a resident of TN, he needs the Type 002 license.
