Exactly. Romney had much more to lose in this debate than Zero did. Romney played it safe and VERY smart. A good attorney never makes a statement or asks a question unless he already knows what the answer will be in court. With Zero, it is hard to know what the lie... errrr answer will be.

Another reason I believe Romney didn't push is some surveying indicated some undecided voters viewing the last debate saw Romney as being borderline rude.

At first I thought the debate was a train wreck for Romney, but the more I think about it, I think some of you guys are right on the money. Out of the people that will vote, I would say that 90% of them have either already voted, or have already made up their mind prior to this debate. I would imagine that both Romney and the Kenyan idiot took some advising on what strategies to employ to go after that small remaining undecided vote.

So quiet honestly, only time will tell who won.

I hope you landslide guys are right, but I have my doubts. I think this one is scarey close, but from where I felt 5 months ago where I thought we would have 4 more years of the Antichrist, I will take scarey close!

I think Obama and company wanted to get a more aggressive reponse out of Romney and then declare he is a war monger like George Bush. Obama is still running against Bush. Romney didn't fall into the trap and held his own.

This is still all "about the economy stupid"..

Romney will win this if he can take Ohio.....

I think both bases minds are made up. Both candidates need to win the vote of the fence-sitters. The fence sitters aren't swayed by political philosophy. They are swayed by "touchy-feely" issues. I think Romney got it right by being polite yet firm, acting the gentleman, and letting obama appear the bully.

As others said ... time will tell.

Romney may not need Ohio. Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota appear to be breaking in favor of Romney.

All in all I think it was a good debate with many chess moves involved. I think it wasn't a game changer and it will be a tight race all the way to the finish line
