Have you shot it? I've bought several with pitting that still shoot very well. JB's bore paste sometimes helps.

You can't clean out pits, but they may or may not hurt your groups. Shoot it and find out.

Have seen several older Knights with ROUGH barrels that group fine. Only way to find out if CVA will do it is give 'er a try.

Like most everyone has said shoot it and see how it does. It might surprise you and group ok but those pitted barrels are nothing but aggravating to clean up. All the other options I can think of arn't too cost effective.

You might check out ebay or one of the gun auction sites. Sometimes I see good used barrels on them.

And I have one that does just that. I kept that bore clean and oiled, and I still have pits that have formed. Still shoots good tho. I'm sure at some point it will affect accuracy tho. \:\(

I have used JB Bore Cleaning Paste to clean rust and minor pitting out of barrels. The pitting is probably there to stay but that doesn't mean the gun still won't shoot acurately.

Here is a link to the product:

Here is a link of how to use it:

Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes.
